In May, Randy Neal Floral Design helped set the stage for a fantastic wedding weekend party. The goal? Welcoming wedding guests from Memphis, Tennessee to Kansas City, Missouri, and of course, having a grand time!
Transforming an Empty Space into a Party
This Memphis meets Kansas City event required Randy’s team to turn a bare event space into a beautiful western themed gathering. To celebrate love, fun, and families coming together, Overland Park floral arrangements and cowtown décor filled the hall.

Rustic Wedding Floral Designs
Randy Neal’s floral designers used the spring season and the western theme as inspiration. Unconventional vases provided a unique feel to the floral arrangements. The floral designers captured the rustic feel of the plains by gathering bouquets in wire baskets, jars, and black kettle shaped jugs. Hydrangeas gave each floral design a rich hue that matched the elegant underlying tone of the occasion. Peonies playfully provided a burst of country color while dozens of garden roses emphasized the romance already in full bloom.
Elegant Dining On the Range
Over 200 guests dined and danced among the Overland Park flowers. Floral designs featuring wedding flowers like delphiniums, and lilacs were strategically placed on the buffet tables. Cowboy Cobb Salad, Urban Bourbon served in tin cups, and mason jars of specialty-pickled vegetables added to the on the range ambience. When it comes to creating a wedding event, having a great caterer is a must-have and Lon Lane is exactly that. To create a sophisticated downhome feel, dinner was served on marbled blue and white plates with denim colored placemats and cotton napkins with complimentary patterns of stripes or plaid.
A Welcoming Cowboy Atmosphere
Long communal wooden tables provided function as well as Midwest comfort and coziness to the wedding event. Keeping with the cowboy theme, a wooden rail fence decorated with cow skulls lined the front of the band stage area. Showstopper floral arrangements were set on either side of the fence, adding a natural element to the scene. And who could forget the neon cowboy boots? With stars spurs glowing gold and electric blue heels kicked high, these bold, statement-making neon signs added instant fun. Using just the right mix of natural light, candles, rustic chandlers, and neon, Landers Vision provided lighting fit for a true wedding party.
